Happy 2024! A few updates, a few questions
2024 should be a very interesting year
Happy new year! 2024 should be a very interesting year, for privacy and other topics as well. I'm got various ideas on how to evolve The Nexus of Privacy, and am curious what people think. Here's a short CryptPad survey; and depending on your privacy settings you may also be able to see it embedded at the bottom of this post.
And now's also a good time to mention several significant updates I've made to various posts on The Nexus of Privacy:
- Should the Fediverse welcome its new surveillance-capitalism overlords? Opinions differ! has a new introduction, several new sections, and a lot of updates reflecting new information now that Threads has actually started federating
- Improving privacy and safety in fediverse software has several changes, shifting it from a resource page for a specific grant proposal to a description of a general project
- Mastodon and today’s fediverse are unsafe by design and unsafe by default has several updates relating to Threads' federation.
